Hommachi Zone
Hommachi, located between the Kita and Minami area, is known as the business central of Osaka. By using the nearby subway stations and highways, the area offers great access to other parts of the city. Within the area is a large-scale exhibition center called “Mydome Osaka” and the “Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry” that supports and promotes the industry of Osaka. In July 2006 a new hotel, City Plaza Osaka was built next to the facilities, creating a convention zone equipped with facilities for conferences, exhibitions, accommodations and banquets.
