Shotoku Taishi Mausoleum
Prince Shotoku is one of the few people in the history who accomplished a lot of business such as conquer Silla, Kan I junikai (twelve grades of cap rank), Constitution of Seventeen Articles, and establishment of many buildings.
The land of Gobyo (mausoleum) in the north of Eifukuji Temple is said to be chosen by Prince Shotoku before his death.
Prince Shotoku died at the age of 49, his Wife Princess Kawashibeno Ooiratsume died the day before and also a mother Anahobeno Hashihito who died 2 monts ago were buried in the same Byosho. And we call it Sankotsu Ichibyo(three coffins in one mausoleum).
