It was revered by many people as patron god of Nakajo Mura・Ibaraki Mura and it was moveｄ to a current place when Kusunoki Masashige built a Ibaraki Castle.
And Subsequent generations of the castle devoted a reverence. Especially, Nakagawa Kiyohide(castellan) and Katagiri Sadataka donated Ueda in the Toyotomi era. In Tokugawa era, they let lord Nagai family to be an executive from Osaka Castle fee to every festival.
It is devoted veneration along with the parishioners.
