Kongozan Katsuragi Shrine

Kongozan Katsuragi Shrine

When Ennogyojya was 16 years old, he felt a presence at Mt. Kongo about 1300 years ago from now. After a long ascetic training, he built Kongozan Temporinji temple on the top of Mt. Kongo.

He enshrined his own god "Hitokotonushi no Okami" and Katsuragi Shrine as a village shrine.

It has been the bugging that Mount Kongo was sacred of gods conflation.
