Rose Garden(Utsubo Park)
Rose garden which has the longest history in Osaka city, and in a part of Higashizono of Utsubo park with a vast site of total area 9.7 ha. There is a large fountain in the center, about 150 kinds, and 3,300 roots of colorful flowers bloom in the middle of May to the middle of November. Lighting fixtures have been installed with the motif of the promenade and roses in the park by the redevelopment of early 2006. There looks different into a urban oasis for variety of people. Especially, the monument light, inside of globe's rose made of hard glass light up sterically by LED, and it has become the symbol of the park. Also, restaurants, boutiques, and general stores are increasing in Utsubo park 1 city block of the south side of the Higashizono.
