Various fun things to do for children and adults alike under the theme of Make Your Wish Come True!

Similar to the Aqua Metropolis Osaka 2009 two summers ago, waterfront events were also held last year, ending in success. And this year it’s on again! Even more powerful this year, making the best of the connections and know-how of Osaka local residents and organizations active in Osaka, etc.

This year, the program is structured from four points of view; visit, enjoy, link and feel. Please take note of the four-sided water corridor and waterfront linked by the Dojima River, Tosabori River, Higashiyokobori River, Dotombori River and Kizu River.

Nakanoshima Park was renewed two years ago. Colorful roses bloomed in May to delight the eye. However, to tell the truth, some roses are not at their best until October is here. Do not forget to stop by at Nakanoshima Park to see the beautiful roses when you go to Aqua Metropolis Osaka Festival.

See from the river? See from the land?

You will visit five bars appearing in Temmabashi, Kitahama, Higashiyokobori, Fukushima and Taisho one by one while going up and down the river on a boat.
Go barhopping while savoring One Drink + One Snack served at each bar with pride, and enjoy getting slowly tiddly.

●Osaka Waterfront Bar
Date: October 22 (Sat) (bar: 11:00–5:00 a.m. of the following day / cruise 10:00- 21:00)
On the day of Osaka Waterfront Bar, light art produces illumination on the waterfront at five boat landings.

Date: October 22 (Sat) sunset - 21:00 (landing), 23 (Sun) sunset - 21:00 (Nakanoshima Park)

Walk around and discover! Charm of the town

During the Aqua Metropolis Osaka 2011 Festival, waterfront and town center become sites for exciting events. The Osaka town Walking Cup is a chance to encounter some unknown charms of Osaka from among over 20 courses.
