Domyoji Tenmangu

5 minutes walk from Kintetsu line Domyoji station. This Domyoji Tenmangu is the shrine which is known as deep connection to the Sugawara no Michizane. He used live in this place, and patron god of Haji clan that was first of making clay image. But now, there enshrine of Amenohohinomikoto, Sugawara no Michizane, and Kakujuni. When Michizane was on the way to Dazaifu in Kyushu, he left a statue of own making when he was visting his aunt Kakujuni. In Engi era 3 (903), Michizane died of illness, but 6 of article left by the deceased(national treasure) which was delivered to Kakujuni because of will were left, and open to the public specially of those article left by the deceased in period of plum festival. 90 kinds, about 900 of plums beautifully bloom in the plum garden that is behind of main shrine, in best season of February. There is chosen as 100 selections of the Osaka Green. Also, "jonari plum"is rare plum that come into bearing all year round, in near the worship hall.  "Hatsutenjinusokae Festival"that takes placeon January 25th is shrine ritual of charm against accidents, many worshipers visit here to pass a lie in previous year.
