Osaka Science Museum
|OPEN HOURS||9:30-17:00 (last admission 16:30)|
The Osaka Science Museum was opened in October 1989 with "Space and Energy" as its main theme. Here you can learn about the universe and energy around a concept of seeing, touching and playing. The just-refurbished planetarium is equipped with a high-performance projector that can project 28,000 stars on one of the world's largest dome screens (with a diameter of 26.5 meters). The OMNIMAX panoramic screen system is the world's largest image system; the sense of presence, the images and sound produced is beyond compare.
