OPEN HOURS9:00-21:00

Osaka Kadoma Sports Center, known by the nickname Namihaya Dome, opened in 1996 close by the Kadomaminami Station of the subway Nagahori-Tsurumiryokuchi Line. One of the major comprehensive indoor sports facilities in Japan, the centre features a main arena with a maximum capacity of 10,000, a heated sub pool that can be used year-round, a sub arena with a capacity of 2,000 that can be used as a gymnasium or an assembly hall, plus training rooms, multi-purpose halls, sports information corner, and more. The floor of the main arena with a high and wide dome-shaped ceiling is movable, enabling major changes of usage of the arena by season. From spring to summer it becomes a swimming pool, with flexible depth adjustment for various events such as competitive swimming and synchronized swimming, and from fall to winter the floor is used for volleyball or even for an ice skating rink. Whenever there are no official events, the facility is open to the public. There are also various sports classes available, such as tennis and trampoline.
