Located at the center of Umeda. A huge red ferris wheel is the symbol of this commercial complex. “HEP” stands for Hankyu Entertainment Park. From B1 to 6F are fashion floors and shops for sundries. 7F and part of 5F and 6F are restaurants. B2 and 8F and 9F are amusement facilities. The huge red ferris wheel 75m in diameter set on the top characterizes this building. It is lit up by computerized controller not just for daytime but also for nighttime. People can get on the wheel from 7F. Gondola goes up to 106m to overlook the center of the city of Osaka. A big red whale of 20m painted by a famous musician Tatsuya Ishi, swims at the 6-story hall atrium.
