Osaka Science Museum

Osaka Science Museum
Outline The Osaka Science Museum was opened in October 1989 with ”Space and Energy” as its main theme. Here you can learn about the universe and energy around a concept of ”seeing, touching and playing.” The just-refurbished planetarium is equipped with a high-performance projector that can project 28,000 stars on one of the world’s largest dome screens (with a diameter of 26.5 meters). The OMNIMAX panoramic screen system is the world’s largest image system; the sense of presence the images and sound produce is beyond compare.
