The Phoenix Hall

Outline	Located within the Nissei Dowa Sompo Phoenix Tower in Nishitenma, Kita-ku, Osaka, the Phoenix Hall was opened in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the former Dowa Fire & Marine Insurance Co. in 1995. A concert hall that seats a total of 335, with 202 seats on the 1st floor and 133 seats on the 2nd floor, planning and presenting unique programs, mainly of classical music. Since its opening, the hall and accessory equipment has been rented out free of charge under the program titled Phoenix Evolution Series to musicians, both professionals and amateurs, that are gifted but lacking in exposure opportunities, in order to provide them a chance to leap forward. Also rents facilities for the purposes of fringe theater use, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, film showings, etc.
