| Outline | Tramcars on the Hankai Tramway Uemachi Line run from Tennoji through the southern part of Osaka City. They are an enjoyable way to experience the history of Osaka. Along the lines are many interesting shrines, as well as many places famous for their depiction in Noh and Kabuki dramas. You’ll pass Tezukayama and arrive at Sumiyoshitaisha Grand Shrine, one of Osaka’s finest shrines. The one-car train is small, quaint and somewhat nostalgia-provoking. Hankai Railway offers Osaka’s only streetcar service. |
