Located at the center of Umeda, this facility boasts a huge red ferris wheel that's become the symbol of this commercial complex. "HEP" stands for Hankyu Entertainment Park. B1 to 6F includes fashion floors and shops for sundries; 7F and part of 5F and 6F are restaurants; B2 and 8F and 9F are amusement facilities. At the top of this building sits a huge 75-meter-wide red ferris wheel that is lit up by computerized controller day and night. The ferris wheel can be accessed from 7F. At the highest, gondolas reach 106m above ground to overlook the center of the city of Osaka. A big red whale of 20m painted by a famous musician Tatsuya Ishi adorns the 6-story hall atrium.
